Show Notes It’s 2020 and one thing we have all learned about this year is that you can plan on life throwing you a curveball. With all of the inconsistencies and uncertainties of the times, one thing is for sure, we have had to learn how to adapt and get creative in all areas of our lives. As a recent graduate, COVID-19 has definitely put a damper on many things for me like missing graduation, senior year travel plans and especially my career search goals. When my senior portfolio course was cancelled and in-person career fairs came to a halt, I among many graduates have entered into the workforce with little to no direction on how to navigate a path to an entry level position. Scrolling through Instagram, I came across a Mastering College to Career Ad and decided to reach out to the founder Daniel Botero. Graciously, Daniel took me under his wing and helped me devise a plan to secure a job opportunity in the middle of a pandemic! One of the final tactics of that plan that Daniel and I devised was to create a podcast series as a modern day resume, and here it is! The Sweetest Fish Podcast Series Is a podcast hosted by me, Jordan (Jay) Alford, to express my admiration and appreciation for Sweet Fish Media and to showcase my passion and will to become part of the family. Tune in today to listen to three special guests: Daniel Botero, Samuel Adeyinka, and Dr. Jennifer Jackson as they express why they believe I am the best candidate for the podcast producer role. I promise by the end of this series, you'll definitely agree that I'm the sweetest fish!
