episode 163. The Kamloops Controversy and Academic Freedom | Frances Widdowson | EP 163 artwork
163. The Kamloops Controversy and Academic Freedom | Frances Widdowson | EP 163

This episode was recorded on July 16th, 2025. What really happened at the Kamloops residential school site, and why are so many questions still unanswered? In this episode, I sit down with political science professor Frances Widdowson to discuss the controversial claims about unmarked graves in Canada, the role of ground-penetrating radar, and how these narratives have shaped public policy and academic discourse. Frances, known for her work on indigenous policy and her commitment to defending academic freedom, brings a wealth of insight into how misinformation can take hold and the importance of open inquiry, even when the topics are difficult. We also talk about the impact of censorship and how universities are failing in their mission to foster real debate. I would love to hear your thoughts—please leave a comment, subscribe for more conversations like this, and share this episode with anyone who cares about truth and accountability.   Find more from Frances: Exposing the Kamloops Mass Grave Deception's Impact on Powell River: https://youtu.be/PE6OEpz0xyQ [https://youtu.be/PE6OEpz0xyQ] Fund raiser: https://fundrazr.com/52XKmf?ref=ab_63AIcaxpJgN63AIcaxpJgN [https://fundrazr.com/52XKmf?ref=ab_63AIcaxpJgN63AIcaxpJgN]   Connect with me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tammy.m.peterson [https://www.instagram.com/tammy.m.peterson] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TammyPetersonPodcast [https://www.facebook.com/TammyPetersonPodcast] TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@tammypetersonpodcast [https://www.tiktok.com/@tammypetersonpodcast] Twitter: https://twitter.com/Tammy1Peterson [https://twitter.com/Tammy1Peterson] Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/TammyPetersonPodcast

episode 162. He Replaced Medication With Meat — And It Worked | Hal Cranmer artwork
162. He Replaced Medication With Meat — And It Worked | Hal Cranmer

What if we’ve been feeding cognitive decline—literally? In this episode, I explore the hidden connection between dementia, diet, and aging with Hal Kramer, a former US Air Force Special Operations pilot turned assisted living innovator. After careers in aviation and real estate, Hal entered the senior care world and discovered a disturbing pattern: elderly residents, often forgotten and overmedicated, were being fed processed food that accelerated their decline. So he did something radical—he changed their food and lifestyle instead of increasing medication. Together, we talk about the link between insulin resistance and Alzheimer’s, the healing power of resistance training, and how one man in a wheelchair walked out of Hal’s home after just seven months of clean eating and exercise. This conversation made me rethink how we treat the elderly, what healing really looks like, and how much more is possible—at any age. 161. Is Handwriting Becoming a Lost Art? | Jake Weidmann

What if writing by hand is more than just nostalgia—it’s a way of connecting to something ancient, sacred, and deeply human? In this episode, I sit down with Jake Weidmann, one of only nine Master Penmen in the world, to explore the forgotten art of penmanship and its surprising power in our digital age. We talk about Jake’s remarkable journey from psychology student to world-renowned artist, how handwriting shapes the brain, and the spiritual symbolism behind his work—from flourishing calligraphy to carving family crests. Jake shares stories from his life, including his new book “Old Soul, New Creation,” which blends memoir, theology, and visual art into a contemplative experience. This episode is a powerful reflection on tradition, creativity, and the enduring importance of beauty. If this conversation moved you, leave a comment, subscribe, and share it with someone who still believes in the power of the pen. 160. How to Stop Letting Resentment Control Your Life | Teresa Conradie, Ligia Vallejo

What does it mean to pursue justice with humility in a world filled with division and persecution? In this episode of my podcast, I speak with Teresa Conradie and Ligia Vallejo of Advocates International, a global network of Christian lawyers dedicated to promoting religious freedom and human dignity across 142 countries. We explore Teresa’s journey from co-founding one of South Africa’s first multi-racial law firms to serving as an acting High Court judge and transforming the legal landscape through faith-rooted advocacy. Ligia shares how a “supernatural connection” led her from a career in education to supporting this mission from the organization’s U.S. headquarters. Together, we reflect on the role of faith, forgiveness, and moral clarity in healing injustice. I invite you to listen, share your thoughts in the comments, and subscribe for more conversations that aim to bring hope and truth to light. 159. Kam Flynn on How Christian Mothers Can Lead with Faith in Public Life | Kam Flynn

What does it look like to serve God faithfully in government while raising a family—and can national revival begin in the workplace? In this episode of the Tammy Peterson Podcast, we explore faith in public life, spiritual heritage in the UK, and the transformative power of motherhood and prayer. I sit down with Kam Flynn, a devoted wife, mother, and civil servant in the UK government with over two decades of experience in policy and efficiency. Kam shares how her journey from apartheid-era South Africa to Westminster leadership has been shaped by her deep Christian faith, her mother’s legacy, and a calling to unify believers through national prayer. We discuss the creation of the UK’s first National Week of Prayer, her work reforming education systems in South Africa, and what it means to listen for God’s voice when making life-altering decisions.
