For season 3 of The Type A Creative, we are creating a creative mixtape and we want you, the listener, on the show! Are you a writer, poet, singer/songwriter, a podcaster, a playwright, or a visual artist? We want to interview you about your art & feature your art!   Our theme for the season comes from the Dandelion card of the Fleurot deck and is all about mystery, subconscious, dreams, and illusion. Some ideas that come to mind on this topic include, learning in the darkness of night, truths that you weren’t aware of that were inside of you, exploring the shadow side of certain feelings, and universal feelings as a part of the human experience. Welcome back to The Type A Creative & welcome to season three! I am so excited to be back in your earbuds after a long break. After doing about 50 episodes with tons of different artists across seasons 1 & 2, I started having this feeling that it was difficult to keep talking about the work without actually touching the work. With that in mind, I am partnering up with my friend, Nikki Bonsol, to co-host season three and we’re putting you, the listener, on the show to create a creative mixtape together! Catherine Madden is a the founder of Relay — which is a design studio based in San Francisco that specializes in helping clients visualize and communicate data.
