When we read stories about God performing miracles in the Bible, it can be easy to count those miracles as nostalgia. We start to believe that God doesn’t perform miracles today! God’s power hasn’t diminished in the time since the Bible was written, and He hasn’t stopped intervening for those whom He loves! We aren’t just supposed to throw out the Old Testament once we have the New; we are meant to read them in conjunction, and understand from their pages how the Lord wants us to live for and serve Jesus.

When God judges the living and the dead, He will separate the good from the bad, casting out all of those who refused His gift of salvation. God will have the final word!
