The Navajo Code Talkers created an unbreakable code. During the Second World War in 1942. These men took up arms to go into the hellfire to defend their home, family, and country. We thank them! For they are part of The Valiant and Valor of the Second World War.

In this episode, I had the privilege to sit down and interview Mike Croissant and talk about his book, Bombing Hitler's Hometown. Here is a brief preview of what is in the book. In April 1945 Linz was one of Germany's most vital assets, in their unheated, unpressurized B-24 Liberators & B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bombers. When anti-aircraft guns opened fire, they flew into a man-made hell of exploding shrapnel. Mike's strong connection to this story is that his Uncle First Lieutenant Ellsworth Croissant is a bombardier in the 459th Bomb group. Truly phenomenal story well-written and a true page-turner!
