Beschrijving

This month the Volteface directors, Liz McCulloch and Paul North, reflect on the year gone by and what it has meant for drug policy. We've had MPs investigate the 'Canadian experiment', a newspaper campaign on cannabis legalisation, the exposure of drug dealing on social media and cross-party support for drug reform.  Expect a frank and honest chat on the challenges drug policy has faced over the past year and the opportunities we can expect in the coming months. Hope you enjoy listening and Meeeerry Christmas!  Podcast produced my Matt Holborn www.northlondonpodcasts.com

A diverse and knowledgeable panel discussed these issues and more, including:Dr Derek Tracy, consultant psychiatrist and clinical director at Oxleas NHS Foundation TrustCarly Barton, the UK's first medical cannabis patientMax Daly, global drugs editor at Vice, author of Narcomania and winner of the 2019 Orwell PrizePaul North, director at VoltefaceThis event was chaired by Hardeep Matharu, editor of Byline Times.
