TACO Tuesday! Take Action Crush Obstacles! Cursing At Mountains with Brandon Kowallis Today’s guest on the Warrior Servant Leader Podcast is a pondering goof ball of epic proportions. His eclectic tastes and interests have led him through his own series of bizarre experiences that have adorned his life and shaped him into the weird but relatively likable and sometimes dislikable character he is today. Brandon’s life is littered with mistakes, failures, imperfections, and other learning opportunities. He is a worldwide caver, what us old timers used to call spelunker. Brandon shares some incredible stories, including rescuing an injured caver from the bottom of Naj Tunich Cave in Guatemala. Helping with the viral Nutty Putty Cave attempted rescue of John Edward Jones. He was next to him when he died. Facing giant spiders in deep bad air pits in Mexico. Getting lost on Boulder Mountain. Laying down the first human foot prints in caves of the Grand Canyon Brandon is also an award-winning cave cartographer and photographer, author of the book Fragile Frontiers, and has worked as a leader in higher education for over 10 years.  He is the author of Cursing At Mountains, a unique novel that leverages the power of storytelling to share universal principles that are the core to both personal life and leadership. It is a story of burnout, marriage under pressure, and what happens when a high-performing professional quietly unravels. Brandon lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he draws inspiration from his work with diverse groups of people across all walks of life, as well as his experience exploring places where few people on earth have been. When he’s not writing or working on creative projects, he’s likely spending time with his wife Michelle and their two children, bushwhacking to find new caves, rock climbing, fishing, or serving in his church and community. From Friction to Flow with Grant Harris

Tough Love Thursday! A message you may not want to hear, but need to. From Friction to Flow with Grant Harris Buckle up, this is not the conversation you might think it is. Today’s guest, Grant Harris, is a globally recognized neuroinclusive performance strategist and speaker who shifts organizations from friction to flow by fixing their process, not their people, so they can save time, keep talent, and deliver value by redesigning how work gets done at scale.  Grant’s work starts with a simple truth: most performance challenges aren’t people problems; they’re process problems. Through a human-centered performance lens, he shows how everyday systems, meetings, roles, decision-making, and expectations either enable execution or quietly undermine it. As a late-diagnosed autistic person, author, introvert, and certified diversity executive, Grant brings both lived experience and enterprise-level rigor to his work with clients. He translates complex ideas about human cognition into clear, execution-ready insights leaders can apply immediately without turning the conversation into advocacy or awareness training.  Grant is the founder and president of GTH Consulting, a minority- and disability-owned consultancy working within complex organizations. His experience spans federal agencies, higher education, global enterprises, and nonprofit systems where execution, accountability, and scale matter. His approach is known for being clear, grounded, and immediately actionable so organizations improve processes and performance.  Selected clients include The Washington Post, the Federal Railroad Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Loudoun County Government, Leadership Snohomish County, ASICS, and First Place Arizona. Grant holds a BA in Psychology, an MBA in Organizational Psychology & Development, and a post-master’s certificate in Educational Leadership & Administration.  Learn more: https://linktr.ee/GTH_Consulting [https://linktr.ee/GTH_Consulting] and access his FREE Process Before People Scorecard, a short 7 question checklist for workplace leaders and managers. Discover how embracing neurodiversity — including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other cognitive differences — can strengthen and grow your business. This training provides practical strategies, expert tips, and best practices to recognize and optimize the unique talents of neurodistinct employees. Learn how to reduce stigma, recruit inclusively, and build a culture that supports neurodiverse teams.  Through lived experiences and actionable tools, you’ll see the proven business impact of neuro-inclusion — from higher employee engagement and retention to greater innovation and performance. Every brain deserves a place to thrive—and when it does, so does your organization.
