Over The Warrior Servant Leader Podcast

Warrior Servant Leader Podcast Welcome to the Warrior Servant Leader Podcast, hosted by Pat Welsh, a man whose extraordinary life has shaped his mission to help others lead with courage, service, and purpose. Left in an orphanage in Dublin, Ireland, at just three days old and adopted by an American family 16 months later, Pat’s life journey taught him that true leadership begins long before you hold a title. It begins with resilience, faith, and service to others. Pat brings over 40 years of experience as a lawyer, police executive, nationally recognized speaker, and criminal justice trainer, sharing battle tested leadership lessons and personal stories that show you how to lead at home, on the job, in your faith, and in your community. Every week, Pat delivers: TACO Tuesday (Take Action Crush Obstacles) where you will get real talk and practical tools to break through life’s toughest challenges. Wednesday Wisdom where Pat unpacks leadership insights gained from decades in the trenches and on the frontlines. Tough Love Thursday where Pat delivers honest conversations about the mindset and heart-set needed to lead with honor and faith. More than a podcast, this is a community for those who want to live and lead with purpose. Whether you wear a badge, work in the corporate world, or lead your family, you will walk away with tactical strategies and inspiring stories to help you show up stronger every single day. This is not a show for armchair experts or keyboard warriors. This is for real people who face real challenges and are ready to take real action. If you want to become a Warrior, Servant, and Leader in every part of your life, you belong here.

A Little Wednesday Wisdom with Meridith Alexander, Go Epic Now!

You know when we have all of these big dreams of how "epic" our life will be a few years down the road and then we wake up one day feeling like we're nowhere close to what we had imagined? Maybe we're feeling like our life is missing joy, passion or purpose -- or maybe we got the "stuff" but something is still missing. Our guest today, Meridith Alexander, had her “walk around this lovely planet” explode when she got the call that her youngest daughter had been crushed by a boulder while hiking in South America and was not expected to survive. She jumped on a plane and headed south. Her focus since then became transforming the impossible into the “I’m Possible” and how to teach ordinary people that they are capable of achieving EPIC things that seem totally “unrealistic” when they know how to fuse their inner game with the outer game. In fact, she believes that it's thanks to these "impossible" boulders that come into our ordinary lives that we can transform them into epic lives. Meridith is a best-selling author, powerhouse mompreneur and top female motivational speaker who has become known for inspiring high-level professionals and entrepreneurs to venture beyond the place where their beliefs stop them -- all thanks to a plummeting boulder that changed her "old normal" into the destiny that she embraces today. She challenges you to explore the boundaries of endless possibilities, positive expectations and deliberate creation. With the remarkable life and death challenges that were laid firmly at her feet, she learned that it's these tiny individual seeds of Greatness that live waiting to be cultivated within our own minds. Then, as we master our own mindset and discover the real beauty within our own story, we become free to empower others and to go on to create "impossible" things.  Go Epic isn’t just a slogan for Meridith, it is her life. A Cornell study showed that 76% of us will look back on our lives and regret that we never went after those big dreams. That’s a scary statistic and today she is here to share her story and hopes to insure that you aren’t part of that 76%. Cursing At Mountains with Brandon Kowallis

TACO Tuesday! Take Action Crush Obstacles! Cursing At Mountains with Brandon Kowallis Today’s guest on the Warrior Servant Leader Podcast is a pondering goof ball of epic proportions. His eclectic tastes and interests have led him through his own series of bizarre experiences that have adorned his life and shaped him into the weird but relatively likable and sometimes dislikable character he is today. Brandon’s life is littered with mistakes, failures, imperfections, and other learning opportunities. He is a worldwide caver, what us old timers used to call spelunker. Brandon shares some incredible stories, including rescuing an injured caver from the bottom of Naj Tunich Cave in Guatemala. Helping with the viral Nutty Putty Cave attempted rescue of John Edward Jones. He was next to him when he died. Facing giant spiders in deep bad air pits in Mexico. Getting lost on Boulder Mountain. Laying down the first human foot prints in caves of the Grand Canyon Brandon is also an award-winning cave cartographer and photographer, author of the book Fragile Frontiers, and has worked as a leader in higher education for over 10 years.  He is the author of Cursing At Mountains, a unique novel that leverages the power of storytelling to share universal principles that are the core to both personal life and leadership. It is a story of burnout, marriage under pressure, and what happens when a high-performing professional quietly unravels. Brandon lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he draws inspiration from his work with diverse groups of people across all walks of life, as well as his experience exploring places where few people on earth have been. When he’s not writing or working on creative projects, he’s likely spending time with his wife Michelle and their two children, bushwhacking to find new caves, rock climbing, fishing, or serving in his church and community. T.L.T. Pentecost Is Not Just Another Holy Day with Host, Pat Welsh

It's Tough Love Thursday, the day we share some messages you may not want to hear, but need to. Buckle up! As we near the end of the Easter season in the Roman Catholic Church, we will be celebrating Pentecost Sunday. Many think this Sunday merely ends Easter and we can go back to a spiritual life as usual as we await Christmas in December. Well, here is some tough love news for you. Pentecost is not just another holy day. It ranks up there, in a scripture sense, with Moses and the Ten Commandments, coming down off Mt. Sinai. In fact, it is greater than that. On Pentecost the believers received the Holy Spirit, the Israelites got 2 stone tablets. Pentecost is the beginning of the Roman Catholic Church. It is the beginning of the Great Commission to spread the Good News, Gospel, to the ends of the world. It was the infusion of the 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit into the people of God. In other words, it was the biggest thing since the Resurrection that happened 50 days earlier. It was a promise fulfilled and the day over, 3,000 people came to believe in Jesus. Take a few minutes to listen to the tough love message I share, reflect on it and rise up and go. Get out there and live the life of a Warrior, Servant, Leader that you were created to live. Quit being a spectator and get in the world arena and spread the Good News. Like, Comment, Share. Follow Pat on LinkedIn, Instagram and Subsatck @patwelshjd
