Join me on this discussion on the dark money in politics(campaigns and government). My guest is Aurora Mayor Pro Tem and City Council Member Nicole Johnston. We also discussed the current events happening in Aurora,CO including COVID 19 and the news surrounding Aurora Police that wrongfully detained and handcuffed four black children. Truly an important discussion.

aflevering The Labor Movement-an introductory discussion artwork

The Labor Movement-an introductory discussion

In this episode I will have an introductory discussion with Jon Perkins, who is a student pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Science with a emphasis on Labor Organizing. He was a letter carrier and was active with the Nation Association of Letter Carriers. He also served on the boards of the Denver Area Labor Federation and the Colorado Affiliate of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organization. I also want to mention that I made a mistake on this episode, I said the Justice Kennedy wrote the majority opinion of Supreme Court Case Janus vs. AFSCME, it was Justice Alito who wrote the majority opinion. Another correction, Jon mention is that the National Labor Relation Board has five members not nine.
