Knowing and following the One who gave his life for you

I'm so glad you're here!! come join in on this belated Easter podcast. Isaiah 53:6 says, "We all like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all". Without Jesus, we're like sheep without a shepherd - headed towards destruction. But the good news is that our God came and made a way for us to follow Him and be saved. He had compassion on us. Jesus is the good shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. Do you know Him as Lord? What does it look like to follow Jesus above anyone or anything else? Do you know Jesus' leading voice?

Our Hidden Treasure | Matthew 13:44

What is Jesus worth to you? In Matthew 13:44 we read a parable about a man who found "treasure in a field" and "sold everything he had to buy this field". Jesus told us that this is what the kingdom of Heaven is like. It has immeasurably more value than anything we've ever had or could have. And this treasure is Jesus Himself. The man in the parable so desperately wanted the treasure that nothing else in His life compared to it. Does this posture reflect how we treasure Jesus in our lives? A zealous follower of Jesus can hardly even begin wrapping their head around the beauty and worth of Him.
