A friend’s recommendation led us to try something more holistic, and while the tests she ran revealed helpful insights into my overall health, the end result was not what we were expecting. I talk about what it felt like to re-enter the world of fertility conversations from this new angle and how hope, fear, and uncertainty all collided in that moment.

Roughly two years after we started trying to grow our family we began with Clomid and then eventually trigger shots and timed intercourse. The pressure to perform and the strain that it took on our marriage were some of the most difficult months of this journey.
