In Episode 5, I had the opportunity to meet and interview Dr. Sandra Torres. She is fighting ovarian cancer as a chingona. She shares her story as a woman, woman of color, mother, partner, sister, daughter, and doctor. The day also unites those living with ovarian cancer, as well as survivors and their families. As part of spreading awareness, Through My Latina Lens, will be featuring two strong ovarian cancer warriors for Episodes 5, 6, and 7.
