My guest, Mattias Kraemer, is a Chilean American actor and performing artist who found his own language through music, traveling at age 24 by land from DC to Brazil and back with only his guitar. At 31, when he was diagnosed with bladder cancer, he went on another voyage, one to guarantee a more healing and sustainable relationship to his daily life. As a massage therapist, after the death of her father, she befriended a pathologist and went to view autopsies so she could better understand the human body and so she could be in the presence of death.
