(v.18) B. How do I know if my discernment is off? There is an emphasis on my glory instead of God's. 2. The lack of the Jew's discernment. (v. 19-23) A. What was the evidence of the Jew's lack of discernment? 1.Blasphemy 2.Lying 3.Gullibility B. How do I know if my discernment is off? 1.There is an emphasis on my glory instead of God’s glory. 2.There is an emphasis on tradition and preference at the expense of truth. 3. The aim of righteous discernment. (v. 24) A. How do I know my discernment is off? 1.We mess up when we judge only on what we can be seen in the moment. 2.We mess up when we judge based on how we will appear to others. B.
