A Praying Church — Ephesians 1:15-23

Prayer can be one of the hardest parts of following Jesus. Not because we don’t know we’re supposed to pray, but because we’ve all wrestled with disappointment. We’ve prayed for healing that never came, relationships that remain broken, and circumstances that only seemed to get harder. If we’re honest, many of us have wondered, Does prayer really accomplish anything? This Sunday we’ll look at one of the most powerful prayers in Scripture, Ephesians 3. Through Paul’s prayer, we’ll discover God’s heart for His church and why prayer has always been at the center of God’s people. What if Vintage Church wasn’t first known for its music or programs, but as a people who prayed? A people who believed God still hears, still works, and still does more than we can ask or imagine.

A Word-Saturated Church — Ephesians 4:11–16

The church cannot grow or be sustained apart from the Word of God. And neither can we. Our lives are shaped by whatever we continually feed on, which is why, at Vintage, we desire to be a Word-Saturated Church

Book of Colossians Week 11 — Colossians 4:2-6

As Paul closes his letter, he reminds us that making an impact for Jesus is not primarily about better strategies or bigger programs, but about faithfully living a life marked by three simple disciplines: Pray for gospel opportunities and depend on God’s power. Watch for God’s activity around you and stay alert to spiritual distractions. Act wisely and step into the opportunities God provides. Questions to Consider What am I praying for right now? What distractions are keeping me spiritually asleep? What gospel opportunities might God be placing in front of me? Am I willing to step through the doors God opens?

Book of Colossians Week 10 — Colossians 3:18-21

What does it look like when Jesus becomes Lord of a home?  In a culture filled with competing ideas about marriage, parenting, and family, God's Word points us to something deeper than techniques or behavior management.  In Colossians 3:18-21, we'll see that a Christ-centered home is built when every member of the family joyfully submits their life under the lordship of Jesus.  Together we'll explore how the gospel transforms marriages, shapes the way we disciple our kids, and teaches us to reflect the grace of our heavenly Father.  Whether you're married, single, parenting young children, raising teenagers, a grandparent, or praying for adult children, this passage invites all of us to consider what happens when Christ becomes the center of our homes.

Book of Colossians Week 9 — Colossians 3:5-17

When our joy is rooted in comfort, adversity shakes us. But when our joy is rooted in Christ, even hardship becomes an opportunity for the greatness of Jesus to be put on display. Biblical joy is not temporary happiness based on circumstances. It is a deep and permeant awareness of God’s grace in Christ. And when that joy takes hold of our hearts, it naturally and supernaturally overflows into mission. Mission is not primarily about going or doing. It is about being a people so captivated by the beauty of Jesus and so satisfied in Him that His glory spills into every corner of life. As a result, we pray, give, and send. These are not duties we perform, but the overflow of a church whose joy is anchored in Christ and whose desire is to advance the gospel.
