You were never promised a comfortable calling. You were promised presence in the uncomfortable one. Discomfort is the evidence of the edge — and the edge is where growth happens. Tool 3 — Discomfort as a Faith Indicator The steps that require the most faith are almost always the most uncomfortable. That stretch is not a warning. It is the texture of trust being exercised. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. * Isaiah 43:2 — When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. The specific one that has been sitting quietly in the back of your awareness. Then ask God these three questions: 1. What are you trying to show me through this? 2.
