Afterwards she welcomes Joyce and they discuss the “At Peace” memorial which honors the lives lost to suicide and offers a sacred space for prayer and remembrance. The memorial was dedicated at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside on June 26, 2026. Lauretta then gives a shout out to Karen Callaway, photographer for the Chicago Catholic who was recognized for her work with the St. Francis de Sales Award on June 19th.
