Brent Stowers took an unconventional path into the legal profession. After beginning his working life with the Queensland Police, Brent moved through sales, government procurement, mining contracts and commercial management before completing his law degree and building an international legal career. His work eventually took him around the world, handling major commercial matters across South America, Botswana, Canada and India. However, after years of working for large organisations, Brent decided to take the risk of building something of his own. In this episode of Your # 1 Business Podcast, Brent joins Antoine Vidal to discuss his journey from global mining lawyer to business owner and co-founder of Moxie Sports Management. Moxie was created after Brent and his business partners encountered talented young athletes who were struggling to navigate professional sport without the family, financial, cultural or organisational support available to others.
