Season 1, Episode 13: Finding My Footing

It took a while, but I finally got a little more writing done (about a chapter and a half) on the not-karmic book. I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to solidify the tone and focus of this project, particularly on the level of description detail. I started of chapter seven not knowing what it would be about, but quickly found its purpose within the first few lines when I realized this was a chance to delve more deeply into Penelope's family and work in some hints.

Season 1, Episode 12: Last of the Introductions

I finally catch up on what I wrote over the last while, which is fitting because these chapters wrap up the story elements and sides of the character Penelope that serve as introductions for the reader. I got stuck here, mainly because this is where I really need to start delving into the meat of the story. Reviewing and talking out this section helped me pin down a few ways to move forward, which I'll talk about next time.

Season 1, Episode 11: Karmic Update

After getting a small amount of writing done on the karmic book, I have a short update on some of the challenges this new world is bringing me and how starting over with Beatrix's character has allowed her to morph into someone I'm finding quite interesting and fun to work with.

Season 1, Episode 10: Planting Seeds of Conflict

I have actually gotten some writing done, but didn't have time to record. This episode is one of several to catch up on progress of the chapters on both projects, and honestly to remind me of what I wrote so I could get back to it after taking a break to wrap up some work for clients. As I looked back at chapters 2 and 3 of the not-karmic side of things, I analyzed how I'm worldbuilding in this story to start embedding hints at the problems that will soon start coming to light.

Season 1, Episode 9: A New Karmic Start

While I haven't had time to record lately, I did actually get some writing done. I restarted the karmic side of the story and am making some fun discoveries about who the main character is and how the tone of the story is changing as ideas begin to come together about the story and the worlds.
