All About Printmaking with Phil and Amy - Episode 9 - Patrick Armstrong - Patrick is a painter living in south Alabama and currently earning a living by teaching art in Montgomery, Alabama. Patrick, however, has spent a considerable amount of time in the Big Apple working on his passion and honing his skill. He graduated from the University of South Alabama majoring in art and did his graduate art studies at the prestigious Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Patrick's work is primarily non-representational and he has dabbled in printmaking over the years. I have known him for a long time. Listen, and learn from his own words, how a small town boy from south Alabama made his way to one of the biggest art scenes in the world, in New York City, and eventually ended up back in his home town teaching high school art.

All About Printmaking with Phil and Amy - Episode 6 - Interview with printmaker Juliee Beyt from Austin Texas. We ran across Juliee at the Facebook art group "Linocut Printmakers" and wanted to profile her and her art work here at AAP. As you can guess, Juliee's main printmaking form is relief, or linocutting, and her imagery includes plants, animals and other visual reference from her home area around Austin Texas. We hope you enjoy our short dialogue with Juliee, and make sure to check out her work at Facebook, Instagram @atelierredbud and Etsy at  https://tinyurl.com/2krsaf5w [https://tinyurl.com/2krsaf5w] or https://www.etsy.co/shop/atelierredbud?fbclid=IwAR3pc9iYwea741RGExSEkjyAbuL0xIPWVsaKsfn-BOTrC1sQEiGAn2i3nB8 [https://www.etsy.com/shop/atelierredbud?fbclid=IwAR3pc9iYwea741RGExSEkjyAbuL0xIPWVsaKsfn-BOTrC1sQEiGAn2i3nB8]

In this episode of All About Prinmaking with Phil and Amy, our hosts introduce us briefly to the planographic form of printmaking. Planographic consisting of lithography, either on metal plates or stone slabs. Neither Phil nor Amy have have much experience at all with lithography but we couldn't just leave it out in the course of discussing the different forms. A couple of web sites that can explain in more detail are listed below and a place to purchase small stones. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
