Beskrivelse

This episode feels like a full-circle moment. Patreon here [https://www.patreon.com/c/authenticallyblue?utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLink&utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link]. ✰—-email - authenticallyblue7@gmail.com [authenticallyblue7@gmail.com] . In this conversation, I sit down with a journalist and entrepreneur based in Nairobi, who played a role in my journey into radio. At the time, I was showing up consistently, asking for opportunities, and eventually took on a voluntary role just to get my foot in the door. No pay. Just passion, persistence, and a willingness to learn. Since then, I’ve moved on and recently found out she’s now the CEO. It made me reflect on how far things can go when you stay consistent and take chances on yourself. In this episode, we talk about journalism, entrepreneurship, and what it really takes to build a career in media. It’s also a reminder that every step, even the uncertain ones, can lead somewhere bigger.

The Things We Don’t Talk About Enough | Queerness in K-Pop & Abandonment Issues

On this week’s Patreon rerun, I ramble (slightly deliriously) through topics with absolutely no order whatsoever: queerness in the K-pop industry, abandonment issues, change, and everything in between. Funny enough, I was sick while recording this episode… and I’m sick again while reposting it. Different surroundings, similar feelings, similar reflections. Grab your beverage of choice 🤍 tea, hot chocolate, or matcha (wink wink) because this conversation is a warm one, my beautiful aliens.
