Welcome to Blunt Talk, where we leave the bullshit to the bullshitters. Sit down, plug in those overly expensive headphones and get in on the conversation. We discuss topics that range from politics, society, relationships, religion, self-improvement, and mental health. This isn’t the show for the easily offended or the person who prefers to keep their opinion to themselves. Our purpose is to facilitate meaningful conversation to help us connect and discover the paradox, that perhaps our differences bring us together as opposed to separating us!

In this episode we discuss issues in the LGBTQ community that are not addressed more often in the mainstream media. My guest this week, joins the conversation to shed some light on these issues. In addition, he shares his experience with "coming out" to his parents as a teenager and the awkward, yet funny stories that came along with that experience. Hit that play button, and indulge yourself in some BLUNT TALK!

New Orleans, weed, Mardi Gras, raising a family, progression and self-improvement. I covered it all with my fellow podcaster Subculturevulture. Find out why electricians shouldn't be stoned on the job. Find out why living your best life is more about confronting your own demons than faking it for social media.

I sat down with author, child advocate, and self proclaimed "mommialist" (Instagram: @_chasidy.) She shared her story of being a young 17-year old mother and turning her struggle into a passion that motivated her to write her very first children's book "Sometimes I live in the Sky." She shared her anxiety with creating a product and putting herself out there creatively. If you are a young parent, this is an interview that will inspire and motivate you to tap into your own passion. And not allow yourself to let go of your dreams because you have had a child at a young age. "Sometimes I live in the Sky" Available January 1, 2019 for purchase via Instagram: @_chasidy . In this episode we discuss the road blocks that plague the millenial generation. In addition, we touch on the often overlooked impact that the millennial generation has had on society over the past two decades. We are responsible for the election of the first African American President Barack Obama, and we are regarded as the most ethnic and diverse generation to ever live. We also touched the topic of immigration, referring to the new Netflix documentary "Out of Many, One." A documentary that follows the lives of undocumented immigrants who currently have their green card and are awaiting citizenship. Indulge in some BLUNT TALK, and lets continue to strive to expand our thinking beyond the four walls of our mind!

According to the Center for Disease Control 40% of men experience domestic violence at one point in their lives or another. While we understand that domestic violence against any person is unacceptable, men are the most under protected and under represented group of people in regard to this issue. In this episode we discuss how gender plays a pivotal role in how we perceive domestic abuse. In addition, we discuss how these gender stereotypes actually are the catalyst that has kept this issue growing steadily for decades. Indulge yourself in some BLUNT TALK, and lets raise awareness and become apart of the solution. A solution that will encourage more healthy and fulfilling relationships. As well as empowering men to think and live beyond gender restraints.
