Beskrivelse

Right now, the clean energy industry is booming, with an expected growth of 17.2% annually between now and 2030. And Sketchbox, a free energy modeling software from Slipstream, is an important tool in educating the next generation.    In our latest podcast episode, Renee talks to Ben Heymer, Gabi Kim, and Jim Reichling—two Slipstreamers involved in the creation and ongoing development of Sketchbox and an educator who uses Sketchbox in his classroom (respectively)—about the benefits of the software and how educators use it to teach energy modeling to their students.

Episode Two: Financing Sustainability

In this episode, Renee talks to Kim Johnston and Holly Edinger, two Slipstreamers who handle Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy—or C-PACE—programs. This type of funding can help finance energy-efficiency, water efficiency and renewable energy improvements. And they can also bolster communities by creating jobs, stimulating the local economy, and enhancing environmental and energy conservation efforts.  Click here [https://slipstreaminc.org/news/clark-county-c-pace-closes-first-project] to read more about the massive C-PACE-funded upgrade to the Virgin Hotel in Nevada, and visit our website [https://slipstreaminc.org/] to learn more about our mission to accelerate climate solutions for everyone. 🎵Theme music by Ben Heymer and Drew Morrison🎵
