In this episode, we are Closer to Irina Konova, who is a photographer, a model, and a psychologist. Irina was born in Moscow and is now living in Lisbon. Moving to Lisbon helped Irina to unlock her artistic talents. Her new project is called Lisbon Whispers, a photo-conversation project that aims to uncover the contemporary identity of the city of Lisbon through the intimate views of its inhabitants. Irina also performs Photo-Art-Therapy, a type of counseling that uses photography and other artistic mediums to help people explore and express themselves in a unique way, helping reconcile conflicts, managing stress and anxiety, and an increased sense of self-esteem. In this episode, we are Closer to Eduardo Reis, who is a PhD Candidate in Psychology at Iscte, University of Lisbon in Portugal. In his PhD studies, Eduardo investigates male victims of intimate partner violence. Previous to his PhD, Eduardo was working on anti-smoking campaigns. In this episode, we are Closer to Gabrièle Kisieliute, who is a musician, a sustainability futurist, and an education advocate. Gabrièle studied classical piano at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and she holds an undergrad degree in Psychology from Vilnius University. Gabrièle lives a green lifestyle that connects deeply with being mindful and conscious about how she sees the world in the future: green world filled with music.
