Left Out ... Until Now: Exploring Left-Wing Authoritarianism With A Pioneer

Dr. Luke Conway is a professor of Psychology at Grove City College and a leading voice in the study of the psychology of culture and politics. With a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Conway has authored over 80 articles, commentaries, and book chapters. He is the author of the book “Liberal Bullies: What Psychology Teaches Us About the Left’s Authoritarian Problem— And How To Fix It [https://www.amazon.com/Liberal-Bullies-Psychology-Authoritarian-Problem_and/dp/1634312546/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=]” His work has appeared in outlets like The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Psychology Today, and he’s been featured on platforms such as the Ben Shapiro Podcast and Heterodox Academy. Dr. Conway also serves as an associate editor for the flagship journal of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. Dr. Conway challenges the long-held view that authoritarianism is distinctly a right-wing problem. His pioneering research uncovers compelling evidence for Left-Wing Authoritarianism, demonstrating that authoritarian traits—such as aggression, intellectual rigidity, and conformity—are not exclusive to one ideology.
