Recorded on February 22, 2022. Three years later - and with apologies and love - this episode is now released and freely available to the world. Meet Dr. and Reverend Sue Rubin, my long-time spiritual sister, friend, teacher, mentor, and mother...one of the wisest people I know with more insight than ever to offer as we go deeper into our hearts and minds in 2025. Back in 2022, I asked and Sue granted me an interview post-Covid and post-Trump (term one), as I wondered how to contend with the effects of an increasingly wild and divided political and social landscape. I have followed her teachings across continents for the better part of over 30 years. Sue's perspective was one I wanted to capture in a recorded snapshot in time. Sue Rubin continues to teach and preach as a guest minister in the traditions of Science of Mind from and near Westlake, California. Her message is complex, simple, beautiful, and one that recognizes and holds the Oneness of all. I couldn't possibly put words to incredible ways as a spiritual being and orator except to say she caught my heart long ago with her humor, storytelling, deep insights into the nature of people, love of the world, and capacity to find wisdom in all faiths and situations. We got together over a Zoom call - she in California and I in Saudi Arabia - and we discussed the world post Covid and post-Trump, in the wake of a newly started war in Ukraine with Russia. Now Trump has returned (Sue predicted this) and the wars of the world continue to invoke the question: how do we live through such times? Listen and find hope from my dear friend who turns 97 on March 1st, 2025. Follow Sue Rubin on Facebook [https://bit.ly/suerubintruthtidbits]. An article [https://loreleiloveridge.com/sue-rubin/] I wrote about Sue Rubin.

Special guest interview with Lebanese citizen Mohamed Fakih - a student I taught 24 years ago in Taif, Arabia. Mohamad and I go on a trip down memory lane (first 30 min or so), remembering our earlier life together as teacher and expatriates in Saudi. Then we concentrate heavily on the events and issues emerging from Lebanon in the last 90 minutes of the interview. Listen to find out Mohamad's experiences, analysis, and predictions for Lebanon and his views of the political situation.

Go along for the ride as DJLJ drives into the Mackie D’s for a ‘final’ binge at McDonald’s (for awhile) and then shares the rather wild musings and a few readings as she works out what’s going on...in her busy life and head. Listen between the lines for how her busy lifestyle trips up all dietary plans but not her ultimate intention to eat well and reach her final goal of losing enough weight to remain Type 2 Diabetes Reversed forever. Readings from the Tibetan Buddhists Thich Nhat Hanh and Chogyam Trungpa. Messy as ever. This podcast is life and wisdom in action, evolving! You’ve never heard eggs like this. Sense and savor, then go boil some of your own.

Randomness in the form of meditations, plus conversations with a Sudanese man and a Saudi man. On being Sudanese. What about FGM? On being a non-native speaker of English and the craving to improve one’s language skills. On lying and laughing while remaining vulnerable and open. The human condition exemplified.

The background behind my philosophy and goals as a compassionate creative with a few insights and tips to help you know more about me and the ways I think and work. :)
