episode Spirit of Tenderness cover

Beskrivelse

Pentecost is rightly an exuberant celebration which highlights the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. But we do not want to forget that a primary role of the Holy Spirit is to comfort us. Jesus tells his disciples that he will send the Spirit to console them after he is no longer visibly present. The Spirit continues to comfort us today, as we deal with sadness, loss, and the inevitable challenges of life. While we certainly want the Spirit to empower our ministry in the world, we also need the Spirit to enfold us in the tenderness of God.  Watch the video HERE [https://www.youtube.com/live/Od2hsNFJDZU] (sermon starts at 41:29) Read the sermon HERE [https://www.coosonline.org/blog/20260524sermon] Connect with Church of Our Saviour HERE [https://www.coosonline.org/]
