06/07/26 - Why Sing?

As we continue our Why Church? series, we ask a simple question: Why do we sing? Looking at Psalm 96 and other passages throughout Scripture, we discover that singing is far more than a tradition or a warm-up before the sermon. God commands His people to sing because music helps us remember truth, teaches sound doctrine, engages both our minds and hearts, and encourages the body of Christ as we worship together.

05/31/26 - Why Prepare?

As we continue our "Why Church?" series, we explore the importance of preparing for worship. Looking at the example of the Bereans in Acts 17 and God's instructions to Israel in the wilderness, we discover that meaningful worship doesn't begin when we enter the sanctuary—it begins beforehand. Through Scripture, prayer, intentional planning, and meaningful fellowship, we can better engage with God and one another.

As we begin a new series exploring the purpose of the church, this message asks a foundational question: Why church? Looking at Acts 2 and the example of the early church, we see that gathering together isn’t merely tradition—it’s God’s design.
