Beskrivelse

An apostle walked into a witch's home in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He found a black skillet, dripping candles, a blanket nailed across the hallway — and when he prayed for the woman who lived there, she opened her eyes and said, "All my powers are gone." I n this powerful episode of Disturbing the Peace, Minister Tommy Arbuckle steps in for John to sit down with Apostle Shane Wall — senior pastor of The Feast of the Lord in Orangeburg, South Carolina, bestselling author, international speaker, and frequent guest on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural. They tackle four conversations every American Christian is wrestling with right now.   First, the Supreme Court is hearing two cases on whether transgender athletes can compete in women's sports. Apostle Shane lays out the difference between fairness and ideology, and what Scripture actually teaches about God's design for male and female.   Second, after the tragic death of 12-year-old Jacob Medina — reportedly tied to a social-media challenge — they walk through the difference between "society" and "social media," why our kids are inside playing with strangers online instead of outside playing with friends, and the practical things parents can do to take their children back from the algorithm.   Third, when church leaders fall, what does biblical accountability actually look like? Apostle Shane delivers one of the most thoughtful fresh readings of John 8 you'll ever hear — Jesus's "let him who is without sin cast the first stone" wasn't a sentimental moment. It was a direct legal reference to the Levitical law that only eyewitnesses could carry out a stoning. Both the violated and the violator need help; both need accountability; and the church has historically gotten this balance wrong on both ends.   Fourth, "WitchTok" has 32 billion views and counting. Etsy sells curses and spells like phone chargers. There's a witchcraft store right in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Apostle Shane shares his personal deliverance testimony — walking into a witch's home, the things he found, the moment after prayer when the woman said her powers were gone — and gives Christians the practical theology for confronting what's happening to our children.   Tommy closes with a charge every viewer needs to hear: the answer to confusion is not more information. It is truth. Stay in the Word. Stay in prayer. Stay connected to a Bible-teaching church.   🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? episode Summer Lee Sparks DEI Debate, UK Bans Christian, Dr. Carol Swain Responds! cover

Summer Lee Sparks DEI Debate, UK Bans Christian, Dr. Carol Swain Responds!

What happens when a society stops trusting truth and starts trusting narratives? Today's Disturbing the Peace brings two conversations that couldn't be more timely. First, Pastor John Amanchukwu welcomes back Dr. Carol Swain — political scientist, former Princeton and Vanderbilt professor, and a scholar whose work has been cited three times by the United States Supreme Court — to respond to Representative Summer Lee's viral hearing remarks claiming that "having all white male doctors is just as bad for the medical profession as having all white male congressmen" and that objective standards for medical competence are merely a matter of perspective. Dr. Swain dismantles the argument piece by piece: there is no all-white medical profession, there is no all-white Congress, and there is no replicable science behind "unconscious bias" or "cultural competency" — "if it's not measurable, it's not science." She walks through her own testimony as living proof against the narrative — a junior high school dropout, married at 16, mother at 17, who earned a GED and five college and university degrees, finishing magna cum laude and completing her PhD in under five years. Her standard is simple: "We are all protected when we have high standards and we apply them to people regardless of their ethnicity." The conversation ranges from her new book, Diversity Without Discrimination: How to Promote a Culture of Unity in a Post-DEI, Affirmative Action World, to the teen takeover crisis, the biblical case for discipline in the home, and where the flame of hope for the next generation must be rekindled.   Then John is joined by Troy A. Miller — President and CEO of National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), the world's largest association of Christian communicators — for an urgent conversation about the West's accelerating war on biblical speech. They begin with the story making headlines this week: the United Kingdom denying a visa to Finnish MP and former interior minister Päivi Räsänen — a sitting member of a Western democracy's parliament, convicted by Finland's Supreme Court over a 2004 church pamphlet articulating historic Christian teaching on marriage and sexuality — turned away over a layover. Miller's warning is direct: "This is not about hate speech. This is an attack on Christianity. Europe doesn't have anything that resembles our First Amendment — and don't think this attack is overseas. It's on our shores right now." They walk through the UK combing citizens' social media accounts, the self-censoring American pulpit — including the "CEO pastors" who treat their congregations as a market instead of a flock — and the Barna finding that 70% of churchgoers want to hear where their pastor stands on the critical cultural issues of the day.   The episode closes on the information war surrounding Israel and the strategic manufacture of confusion — the coordinated bot campaigns that descend on anyone who speaks in favor of Israel online, the hundreds of millions of dollars flowing from Qatar into NGOs and tech operations, and what Miller calls the "green-red alliance" of secular progressivism and global jihadism united against the Judeo-Christian foundation of Western civilization. His answer to those who dismiss "Judeo-Christian" as a modern marketing slogan: "It's a marketing strategy from the first century." And his charge to pastors afraid of being labeled: Christianity ended paganism, ended feudalism, and ended slavery precisely because the church refused to stay out of the public square. "Sexuality is not a political issue — it's a spiritual issue. The family is not political — it's spiritual. I'd be happy to get politicians out of politics when politicians get out of the spiritual issues of today." episode Raphael Warnock Says God Punished America, Pastors Calls Pro-Life "Satanic" & Nolan Wells cover

Raphael Warnock Says God Punished America, Pastors Calls Pro-Life "Satanic" & Nolan Wells

What happens when the pulpit stops proclaiming God's truth and starts redefining it? Pastor John Amanchukwu welcomes back the guest he calls his favorite preacher to have on the show — Bishop Patrick Lane Wooden Sr., his pastor, his bishop, and his father-in-law — for a full episode confronting the biggest stories impacting the church right now. They open with Senator Raphael Warnock's controversial July 4th sermon from the Ebenezer Baptist Church pulpit, in which the sitting U.S. Senator suggested God sent a thunderstorm to drive Americans off the National Mall during the nation's 250th anniversary celebration. Bishop Wooden's response is measured and devastating: "God didn't cancel it. If the God of the Bible really didn't want that to go on, He would have sent a storm that wouldn't have delayed it — it would have canceled it. The President still gave his speech. Thousands showed up. And it was a beautiful night." Then they turn to a megachurch pastor's viral claim that uncompromising pro-life Christians are "satanic." Bishop Wooden — who has called out the number of babies saved from abortion every single Sunday at Upper Room Church of God in Christ for two decades — does not mince words: "He doesn't say he disagrees with you. He doesn't say you may be off. He says it's satanic. Silence is an endorsement — and too many preachers have been consenting on abortion by simply being silent." By that pastor's logic, John asks, was William Wilberforce satanic for refusing to nuance his opposition to slavery? The heart of the episode is one of the most honest conversations on Christian YouTube about the Nolan Wells case — the 18-year-old football player from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, who went to Horn Island with a group of friends on July 4th and never came back. John lays out only what is documented: the timeline, the phone located by Snapchat ping at a house on the mainland, the body recovered July 6th, the pending toxicology, the independent autopsy, and the sheriff's early statements dismissing foul play. Then Bishop Wooden gives an answer you will not hear anywhere else — a grandfather's answer. "I am incredibly conflicted on this one. I'm not going into this objectively — my grandson plays football, my grandson is around this young man's age. If that were my grandchild, there would not be a stone left unturned." He is equally honest in every direction: skeptical of the race hustlers and the coming media circus, skeptical of a sheriff who ruled things out days after the body was found, grieved that five or six Black young men killed in Chicago the same weekend received no cavalry at all, and clear about the standard: "If he drowned, I pray nobody does one minute of time on an accidental death. But if that young man was murdered and they knew about it — lock them up." Evidence first. Justice, whatever it shows. episode The Wealth Gap Starts With A Wisdom Gap cover

The Wealth Gap Starts With A Wisdom Gap

Too many families are leaving bills instead of blessings. Debt instead of direction. Confusion instead of an inheritance. Last week, Dr. Christopher A. Stone — senior pastor of Unity Worship Center Church of God in Christ in Burlington, NC; District Superintendent of the Success District; First Administrative Assistant to Bishop Patrick L. Wooden Sr. — joined Pastor John Amanchukwu to diagnose the problem: a generation that was never taught what the Bible says about money, work, and legacy. The response was overwhelming. So Dr. Stone is back in studio — and this time, the entire episode is the solution. As John puts it: "The Bible didn't tell us to GoFundMe. It really says go fund yourself. If a man doesn't work, neither shall he eat."   They open where the recovery has to start — financial discipleship at home. Dr. Stone grew up in a household where the words budget, interest, savings, and investing were never spoken. John admits he would have guessed a "budget" was a rental car company. Stone walks through how he and his wife realized, as newlyweds under the teaching of the late Bishop Otis Lockett Sr., that they were "eons behind" — and how they refused to pass that deficit to their four daughters. By age five, his girls were earning money through chores, setting aside the first dime for God, writing their spending plans on paper, paying themselves in savings, and learning the difference between the candy they wanted and the paper and pencils they needed. "If you're going to learn how to be responsible, learn how to differentiate between needs and wants." Then the episode turns to the single biggest wealth-building tool available to the average American family — home ownership. John lays out the numbers: Black homeownership in America sits at roughly 44% compared to 74% for white Americans — a gap larger than it was in 1968 when the Fair Housing Act was passed. The median white homeowner holds $215,000 in home equity; the median Black homeowner, $115,000. A home purchased for $200,000 in 2000 is worth approximately $500,000 today — a $300,000 wealth transfer sitting in a piece of property, while renters over that same period built nothing. Dr. Stone answers the question underneath the statistics with the hard honesty this series has become known for. When John jokingly protests that the bank denied him because he's Black, Stone doesn't blink. "It's your credit score. Money is green. Money doesn't have a color. Financial institutions are in business to make money — they're not going to lend to anyone they see as a hazard, I don't care if you're black, white, green, or red. If you have these things in order, you will find there is fair lending." Then Stone lays out the complete practical path from renting to owning: the $1,000 emergency fund first. The budget that finds the leak — "if there's a flood in your house, you don't grab a mop bucket, you turn off the water." The hard season of no eating out, no expensive vacations, no new jewelry — "you're renting." Attacking consumer debt. The 35% of your credit score that is simply paying bills on time. The 720 credit score minimum before buying. Three to six months of reserves. The 15-year mortgage versus the 30-year. And the discipline of paying down principal until the house is yours in record time.   🔥 Shop & Support ⚡️ Website:  → https://iknowgod.us/ 👕 Merch → https://www.iknowgodmerch.com/   ▶️ Stay on YouTube Subscribe for more truth and bold commentary: https://www.youtube.com/@revwutruth   📲 Follow Me on Social Media Instagram ➤ https://www.instagram.com/revwutruth/ X (Twitter) ➤ https://twitter.com/REVWUTRUTH   #JohnAmanchukwu #REVWUTRUTH

episode What The Raleigh Teen Takeover Says About Parents, Manhood & The Church cover

What The Raleigh Teen Takeover Says About Parents, Manhood & The Church

Pastor John Amanchukwu welcomes Elder Jude T. Albert — a native of New Orleans, Louisiana; retired United States Army Master Sergeant with 30 years of honorable service and two combat deployments to Afghanistan; recipient of the Bronze Star Medal; ordained elder in the Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Patrick Lane Wooden Sr. at Upper Room COGIC; Chief of Staff to the Chairman of the COGIC PK Connection; adjunct professor; and faithful father of two. Elder Albert brings to Disturbing the Peace what may be the most substantive conversation of the year on what the modern American church has forgotten about servitude, discipline, and the biblical foundation of manhood — from a man who has actually lived it in uniform for three decades. They walk through what servitude actually means when it isn't a dictionary definition. Elder Albert takes John back to the enlistment oath he raised his hand to in 1995 — "I do solemnly affirm to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the officers appointed over me" — and explains what it costs a man to willingly subject himself to a superior authority for thirty years. Then they turn to discipline as the daily lived reality that undergirds every faithful father, every functional home, and every church that actually produces leaders instead of consumers. Elder Albert lays out his four-phase framework for training children — tell from 0-5, guide from 6-12, then coach through the teenage years, then partner in adulthood — and shares the sentence his own father spoke over him when Albert's oldest son was one year old that Albert says he has never forgotten: "Whatever you teach him — that's what he'll know." The second half of the episode confronts the shocking recent Raleigh teen takeover at Glenwood and Brier Creek — where roughly 8,000 kids descended on the area and created chaos across the city — and asks the question Elder Albert says nobody is willing to answer honestly. Where were the parents? John shares his own now-viral teen memory of returning to his childhood home at 3 AM, climbing through a window he had left cracked open, and encountering his mother waiting inside with a bottle of bleach and a warning that he still remembers word for word. Elder Albert answers with his own belt-behind-the-door memory from his father. Both men agree on the diagnosis: what happened in Raleigh was not a mystery. It was the predictable fruit of a generation of what John calls "punk mamas and punk daddies" — parents unwilling to be the disciplinarians their households required. This is Christian manhood and biblical discipline content from a man who has trained soldiers, deployed to Afghanistan twice, raised sons, and served the body of Christ for decades. Watch it. Share it. And thank a service member the next time you see one.   🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up?
