episode What Occurs if You Consume Mold cover

Beskrivelse

Mold toxicity is a common concern, so what about moldy foods like moldy bread or cheese? Can mold make you sick? Is mold dangerous to eat? Find the answers to these questions and more in this quick video! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: What happens if you eat mold and fungus? 0:13 Moldy cheese and other moldy food 0:39 Fungus and mold symptoms 1:10 Mold and fungus in the body 3:28 Immune function and mold 4:20 Mold toxicity remedies Is it safe to eat foods with mold? You probably wouldn’t want to eat moldy bread, but moldy cheese will not negatively affect your health. The mold on cheese does not produce a harmful byproduct like some other molds. Avoid moldy foods such as peanuts, rice, grains, corn, dried fruit, and coffee. Eating mold on these foods can be harmful to your liver and can even cause cancer. If you have mold or fungus in or on your body, it’s probably not related to eating mold, but an issue with your microbiome. In a healthy microbiome, you have abundant good bacteria and are typically unaffected by fungus, mold, and yeast. When your gut bacteria are destroyed, fungus and mold can overgrow. Antibiotics, steroids, high levels of iron, and alcohol are detrimental to your gut microbes. Increased pH in the body can also contribute to the overgrowth of fungi and molds. Mold and fungus can downgrade your vitamin D receptors. Without sufficient vitamin D, your immune system can not function properly. Increase vitamin D to penetrate this resistance. Whenever you increase your vitamin D intake, you must also increase magnesium, vitamin K2, and zinc. If you’re deficient in zinc, your thymus will not function properly, inhibiting your immune function. Selenium is also vital to prevent infections. If you think you may be experiencing fungus or mold toxicity, try the following remedies: •Activated charcoal •Bentonite clay •Chlorophyllin •Cruciferous vegetables •NAC •Propolis •MCT oil •Probiotic foods Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. episode The Worst Dog Food Ever Made cover

The Worst Dog Food Ever Made

This deadly dog food ingredient is KILLING your dog. Find out about the harmful dog food ingredients linked to cancer and other health problems. Know which dog food ingredients to avoid to keep your best friend healthy! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Toxic dog food ingredients 0:33 Corn in dog food 3:00 Meat and bone meal 4:15 More dog diet dangers 7:29 Dangerous dog food additives 8:43 Dog health risks 9:12 Review of the bad ingredients in dog food How to test for hidden carbs: ▶️    • Does Your Supplement Contain Maltodextrin?... Let’s look at the toxic dog food ingredients that could be ruining your dog’s health. 1. Ground whole grain corn This is derived from dent corn, also known as field corn. This GMO corn contains traces of glyphosate, an herbicide linked to cancer. Dent corn may also sit for a year before turning into dog food, developing a deadly aflatoxin, also known to cause cancer. Dogs are not meant to consume high amounts of grain! This highly refined starch is just hidden sugar that does not have to be listed on the label. The average dog food is about 48% carbohydrate, which can create metabolic issues, a fatty liver, and obesity. 2. Meat and bone meal This “meal” is typically sourced from dead, dying, diseased, or disabled animals. Euthanized dogs can even be used to create meat and bone meal! 3. Soybean meal Dogs are not meant to consume soybeans, especially highly processed GMO soy. Soybean meal is processed with chemical solvents like hexane and contains phytonutrients that can affect the thyroid, hormones, and offspring if your dog is pregnant. 4. Animal fat This sounds healthy, but it is usually combined with highly oxidized seed oils preserved with chemicals such as BHA or BHT—carcinogens banned in Europe. 5. Corn gluten meal This ethanol byproduct contains a corn protein called zein, which is incomplete and poorly absorbed. 6. Chicken byproduct meal This ingredient also includes dead, dying, diseased, and disabled animals (4D’s), which may also contain antibiotics. 7. Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 2 Dangerous dog food additives like food coloring can cause neurological issues and contribute to tumor formation. 8. Animal digest This is slaughterhouse waste! 9. Wheat middlings This wheat industry waste product contains ethoxyquin, a carcinogenic ingredient banned in Europe. It can also form acrylamide when cooked, which can trigger cancer and liver problems. episode Don't Fail This Brain Test (For Early Dementia) cover

Don't Fail This Brain Test (For Early Dementia)

Grab a pen and paper and try this 30-second early dementia test! This simple cognitive assessment for dementia can identify cognitive deficits long before the onset of dementia. Don’t wait for early dementia signs to take action! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Quick dementia brain test 0:24 The clock drawing test for dementia 1:17 Evaluating clock drawing test results 1:57 What causes dementia? 2:39 Preventing cognitive decline and reversing dementia 4:40 Reversing early dementia signs with ketones Memory loss is not the only early sign of dementia! Other common cognitive decline symptoms involve the speed at which you process information and your attention and focus. To perform the clock drawing test for dementia, set a timer for 30 seconds and draw a clock with the time set at 10 minutes after 11. To evaluate your results for any dementia risk factors, examine the following: •Were any numbers jumbled or missing? •Did you write all 12 numbers? •Were the numbers spaced correctly? •Were the hands of the clock facing the right direction? •Did you reverse the hour and the minute hands? •Were you unable to complete this in 30 seconds? The clock drawing test is one of the most sensitive indicators of early cognitive deficits and is considered more accurate than memory tests. If you didn’t pass this test or you made a mistake, don’t worry! You can do many things to support brain health and prevent or reverse dementia. Sugar shrinks your brain, especially the hippocampus, which controls memory. Chronic stress and poor sleep can also contribute to the problem. If you notice any signs of early dementia, increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) is vital. BDNF helps grow brain tissue and prevents cognitive problems, as well as other issues like depression. Here are the best ways to increase BDNF: •Intermittent fasting •Cold therapy •Deep sleep •Learning difficult tasks or skills •High-intensity interval training Ketones can also help reverse dementia and protect your brain against cognitive decline. A low-carb diet can increase ketones and has even been shown to reverse diabetes in 10 weeks! MCT oil, coconut oil, and ketone supplements can also provide the brain with ketones. To remain in ketosis, only consume a moderate amount of protein! Disclaimer: Dr. Eric Berg received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Sleep quality is just as important as the number of hours you sleep. Light, sound, air quality, temperature, and what you eat before bed all affect your sleep quality. As you fall asleep, your core body temperature naturally drops by 2–3 degrees. Keeping your bedroom between 60–67°F can support this natural cooling process, making it easier to fall asleep and stay in a deep sleep. Dim the lights 2–3 hours before bed, avoid blue light and LED lights in the evening, and eliminate small light sources in the bedroom. These simple changes can help improve sleep quality. Snacking before bed can spike blood sugar and contribute to blood sugar fluctuations throughout the night, making it harder to get restorative sleep. The benefits of deep sleep include better memory, improved brain waste removal, increased growth hormone, stronger immune function, and more stable blood sugar, all of which can help you stop waking up feeling tired. Not sure what to do after coming off of Ozempic? Watch this video to learn the steps to maintain weight and health after Ozempic. 0:00 Introduction: Maintaining weight after Ozempic 0:15 What is Ozempic? 4:55 Negative effects of Ozempic 5:30 How to maintain weight after Ozempic Understanding the benefits and drawbacks of Ozempic is crucial when considering how to manage your weight after stopping this medication. As a GLP-1 Agonist, Ozempic mimics a hormone in your small intestine that helps regulate insulin levels, control appetite, and slow down gastric emptying. While this can aid in weight loss, it can also lead to adverse side effects. These side effects may include: • Nutrient deficiency • Gastroparesis • Constipation • Gallbladder problems • Thyroid tumors and cancer To help maintain your weight after Ozempic, it’s crucial to make certain lifestyle changes, such as: 1. Follow a ketogenic diet to keep insulin levels low and promote fat-burning. 2. Do intermittent fasting to control appetite and improve hormone balance. 3. Incorporate weight training to build and preserve muscle mass. Additionally, ensuring adequate protein intake is crucial for maintaining muscle mass, especially for those who have already lost a significant amount of muscle while on Ozempic. This can be achieved through consuming bioavailable proteins such as red meat, eggs, and fish. Monitoring your hormone levels and ensuring proper cholesterol intake is also important, as cholesterol is a building block for many hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. #keto #ketodiet #weightloss #ketolifestyle Thanks for watching!
