Megan and Laura are back after a long Jubilee rest! We are happy to be back listening to stories of Regnum Christi women building the Kingdom throughout the world. Today we are joined by an RC young woman from Canada, Lauren Weimer. She just finished serving two years as a Regnum Christi Missionary in Atlanta, Georgia. Savanna Plunkett's Story: Hope in God's Plan

We are continuing as pilgrims of hope in the Jubilee Year, now enjoying the graces of Pentecost! Last episode, we were able to listen to Betti’s story as she prepared for her first vows. In today's episode, we'll sit around the table with Savanna, a young woman who is just beginning her vocational discernment with the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi. It’s beautiful to hear the fresh love she has for the Lord and how she sees God’s fidelity in her own life, filled with many twists and turns. He is faithful, and that is a great reason for HOPE.  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.-Jeremiah 29:11

Betti Duda's Story: Hope in God's Call

Happy Easter, dear listeners! After a bit of a stint, Laura and Megan are back with testimonies of hope to inspire you in this Jubilee Year as Pilgrims of Hope! This week they are joined by a young woman, Betti Duda, who is in her candidacy before making first vows with the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi. She shares how she had a conversion on the night St. John Paul II died, and how that night was the catalyst of her vocational journey.  To quote the last homily of our late Pope Francis: “And so we cannot settle for the fleeting things of this world or give in to sadness; we must run, filled with joy. Let us run towards Jesus, let us rediscover the inestimable grace of being his friends.”  Love for Jesus impels her, and we pray it impels each of you to follow the call the Lord has placed on your hearts and in your lives.

The first guest for Season 2’s hope-tellers is long-time RC member Janet Lees. From her Ohio home, this wife, mother, and grandmother has found deep hope in the mission of listening and witnessing to others and getting a front-row seat to God’s glory. Janet shares how her love for the Lord and our spiritual family, her training in spiritual direction, and St. Ignatius’ 19th annotation of his Spiritual Exercises have led her to marvel at God’s glory.  We hope today’s episode blesses you, as it blessed us!

Welcome to Season 2: Hope-telling

Welcome to Season 2 on the For This Moment Podcast! Megan and Laura take time during this episode to reflect on the past year of the podcast and the blessings they’ve received, as well as launch the new season. This year will be focused on story-telling or, as Pope Francis says, “hope-telling”. The podcast will now focus on RC women with stories of hope to nourish you on your pilgrim journey this Jubilee Year.  On January 25, 2025, Pope Francis encouraged us to tell stories filled with hope that nourish the soul. “Telling hope,” he said “means allowing people to hope against hope..having a gaze that transforms things, making them what they could and should be.”  Here’s to a new season and being apostles of hope!
