This episode will focus on the birth of the Habsbourg Dynasty, how they came to power, the many glorious battle they fought and the way they conquered most of Europe. We will also look at the unfolding of the Peace of Westphalia and it's many clauses. Finally we will look at the war of the Austrian sucession with Maria Theresa as the last Habsbourg and founder of the Habsbourg-Lorraine house.

In this episode we explore the Salians, the Ottonians and the Concordat of Wurms which will lay ground for the future of the empire. Perhaps it was not wise for the emperors to ally themselves with the church.
