God Isn't Asking For Perfection

So many of us spend our live trying to perform, prove ourselves, and get everything right -- if we can just be perfect, we'll finally be enough. God never asked for perfection. In this episode, we talk about the pressure to perform, the fear of failure, and the exhausting pursuit of perfection. For years, I tied my worth to my performance -- on the court, in life, and even in my faith. What started as a gift became an idol and pressure, performance, and perfectionism became strongholds in my life. The good news is that Jesus isn't looking for perfect people. He's looking for surrendered hearts.

I Didn't Know I Was Grieving

As athletes, we often try to avoid conversations about grief. Today, we're talking about it -- What happens when disappointment turns into grief? When identity collapses? When the life you thought you were suppose to have doesn't happen? Grief isn't weakness. Grief is a part of being human. The question is: what do we do with it? Seasons of grief are inevitable. The way we handle it matters.
