New research from the University of Limerick is exploring the NEEDS project, which stands for Negotiating the Essentials for Education in Democratic Societies, and is looking at how student-led learning can transform the Junior Cycle experience. Dr John O'Reilly, Associate Professor at UL's School of Education and Principal Investigator on the NEEDS project, and Éabha Hughes, the PhD researcher leading the ongoing work with schools involved in the programme, join Limerick Today.
