Today with my mindful writing practice inspired by Nadia Colburn, I found something quite mind blowing in a couple of lines of poetry by the Sufi poet Rumi. The context was quite ordinary but as always, we strive for the “extra”. Do tune in.

As a part of my mindful writing challenge with Nadia Colburn, I was privileged to listen to the translation of the 15th century Indian poet and saint, Kabir Das. His poem “I said to the wanting creature”, translated by Robert Bly, offered a lot of food for thought on stillness in the present moment.
