O.A.R. (short for Of a Revolution) is an American rock [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_music] band founded in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockville,_Maryland].[1] [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O.A.R.#cite_note-:0-1] The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Marc Roberge, drummer Chris Culos, guitarist Richard On, bassist Benj Gershman, saxophonist/guitarist Jerry DePizzo, trumpet player John Lampley and keyboardist Mikel Paris. Together, the band has released nine studio albums, including their latest release, The Mighty, in March 2019. The band is well known for their live shows and extensive summer touring, and have released five records of various live performances to date.
