episode Pastor Deborah A. Jackson (Entrepreneur/Author/238 Church) cover

Pastor Deborah A. Jackson (Entrepreneur/Author/238 Church)

Pastor Deborah A. Jackson is the Founder and Lead Pastor of 238 Church. She has over four decades of faithful service in ministry and is committed to the apostolic doctrine and biblical standards of holiness. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Pastor Jackson began ministering in music at the age of five in her grandfather's church. On March 31, 1981, at the age of 13, she was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and received the gift of the Holy Spirit according to Acts of the Apostles 2:38 during a youth service at Emmanuel Temple Church in Bakersfield, California. This foundational experience established her lifelong commitment to apostolic truth and Spirit-filled ministry. She was originally ordained in 2011 through Shield of Faith International Churches and thereafter served independently, leading, mentoring, and cultivating ministry initiatives from 2012 to 2026. From 1998 to 2022, Pastor Jackson also owned and operated several successful salons. After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, she made the intentional decision to return fully to ministry in 2026 under the covering of the Southern California District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW), recommitting herself entirely to God's call on her life. In addition to ministry service, Pastor Jackson brings over 23 years of federal government leadership experience and entrepreneurial background in administration and organizational management. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management and is committed to continuing her education at the graduate level through a Master's degree program within the educational school systems. Pastor Jackson is the mother of two daughters and a grandmother. She remains dedicated to building disciples, strengthening families, advancing the Kingdom of God through biblical teaching, and reaching the lost through soul-winning outreach.
