We were made a new creation when God placed us in Christ and indwelt us with his Holy Spirit.  The flesh was set aside so that we no longer have to live in it.  We  can now yield ourselves to His Spirit and God can work in and through us.

A War on Truth

In the Old Testament, they did not understand the mystery of Christ.  It was not revealed to them, but it is revealed to us now. In Genesis, God had a plan and it was that He created man in His own image.  Man could have perfect fellowship with God and could walk with God, talk with God, interact with God and live forever.   Satan's plan/work is to get man to rebel against God's plan.

The Mystery Revealed

The mystery is Christ in you.  Being placed into Christ is identifying with his death and resurrection.  Which means that we are dead to our old self and alive to a new life - Christ in and through us.
