episode Mental Health - About time we started paying attention cover

Beskrivelse

Far too many of us are undergoing mental stress, far too many are taking extreme steps, far too many are destroying their lives, far too many just far too many!!!!! Although this portrays a bleak outlook, there is a hope, there is a way out, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!! Precisely with this optimism in mind Bhaskar, Puneet and Rajeev sat down to discuss some of their own share of mental stress, fundamental mistakes they made in responding to stress and finally some of the effective ways(as they perceive) for tackling stress. The key takeaways from the conversation are ·       ADMIT – That is, as a first step, admit to yourself that you are undergoing stress. Don’t be in denial. ·       SHARE and CARE –Share the stress with who you can take into confidence. Sharing eases out the pressure. Also return the favour, look around yourself and make yourself available to anyone who needs you. Finally; ·       TACKLE – Apply some of the measures discussed on the podcast including engaging into productive distractions, taking breaks, pursuing hobbies, eating and sleeping well, workouts among others. Sincerely hoping this conversation adds ‘some’ value to your understanding and tackling of stress. And last but not least - Stay Healthy, Stay Positive and Stay in Touch :-). #mentalhealth #depression #mental illness #stayhealthy
