Hi everyone, welcome to the 18th episode of Recomendies! We have our third book-focused episode, and this is a topic I've been looking forward to talking about. Today, I discuss the horror manga icon Junji Ito, author and artist extraordinaire. I give a little bit on his background, a brief definition and history of manga, and visit my middle school Goodreads page. I also discuss my own feelings on the horror genre and why it seems so interesting to me. Instead, I and my brother Matt decided to list some of our top 5 video games of all time and go into why they are our favorites. This is a beefy one, but I think the conversation more than makes up for the length. We talk about everything from big budget superhero games to smaller projects that delve into the meaning of art and the relationship between creator and consumer.
