Beskrivelse

In celebration of America's 250th birthday, Rededicate 250 was held on the National Mall to rededicate the nation to God, and critics immediately labeled it "Christian nationalism." But that label is designed to silence Christians, not describe them. In this episode, I react to the Rededicate 250 event and break down what the critics are getting wrong. I cover the historical connection between Christianity and America's founding, why the word "rededication" is the key here, where I think some of the Trump and White House faith criticism has merit, and what the data is actually telling us about faith in America right now.

Episode 56: Our Rights Come From God, Not Government — Clarence Thomas Reminds America Why

Your rights do not come from Washington. They do not come from Congress, the courts, or the White House. Justice Clarence Thomas made that clear in a powerful lecture at the University of Texas, and it cuts straight to the heart of the question behind Restoring America: what are we actually restoring America to? In this episode, I react to Thomas’s speech on the Declaration of Independence, God-given rights, the purpose of government, progressivism, courage, and the founding principles America must recover as we approach our 250th year. This is not just a history lesson. It is a challenge to every American, and especially to leaders who claim to defend liberty while compromising the principles that made this country worth preserving.
