This week on "Scoop with the Supt," we sit down with journalism advisor Colleen Sergent and four talented 8th grade student reporters from Jefferson to talk about their exciting work in the school’s journalism program. The students share what they’ve learned about writing, reporting, and teamwork while producing the Jefferson newspaper (The Panther Public), and how they’re using creativity and social media to keep their classmates informed and engaged. It’s a fun conversation about student voice, real-world skills, and the power of storytelling.
