Talkin' Turkey w/ ADRIAN HARE | The GoHuntBirds.com Podcast

Before TSS, OnX Hunt, social media and a whole lot of other turkey hunting stuff...there was Adrian Hare.  Ontario resident Adrian Hare has been hunting turkeys since 1988 and has developed a lot of knowledge over his almost 40 years of spending time in the Turkey woods.  Adrian was the first person in Canada to complete the Wild Turkey Grand Slam which consists of harvesting the four most common U.S. subspecies: the Eastern, Rio Grande, Merriam's, and Osceola (Florida). This is a feat that he has since accomplished several times more over his years.  He has also completed the Royal Slam which includes all four birds in the Grand Slam, plus the Gould's turkey (found primarily in Mexico and parts of the southwestern U.S.  Give a listen this week as Adrian tells some tales from his time in the turkey woods.  Enjoy!!
