Spring of 1803, after the United States acquired the Louisiana Territory, two men set out with a crew of roughly 33 men to see what the country had purchased.  Meriwether Lewis and William Clark would captain a group of hunters, trappers, and would be mountain men on this journey. In the first part of our series on the expedition the party prepare and finally depart on an adventure of a lifetime, across undocumented lands, on a mission from the President himself. 01 - The Stoned Ape Theory : Fungus Among Us

After reading Terrance McKenna's book "Food of the Gods" it gave me a lot to think about and even more to say. The Stoned Ape Theory has fascinated me since I fist heard about it. Not that I completely agree with all that he hypothesises I do think it is an interesting idea and good attempt at thinking outside the box about how early man came to be. Or could have. It's more of a what if than an actual theory but an exciting what if. Let's relax, smoke one, and talk about why we are the way we are...
