you are chosen. let's talk about it. know that in many ways this is our truth. chosen by our ancestors and by the community that is actively manifesting us and our gifts. in this ep, i share how a session with @manang.lauren._ (lauren's handle on ig) brought forward a memory of being deeply chosen by one of my ancestors and how that memory of being chosen has grounded me into the work i do today.

my work with baybayin baby (peep @katdaaca on ig if you don't know!) was recently included in a news article about the resurgence of baybayin. i discuss the feature, how it's important to me that sacred rage is reflected in my work, and that collectively we should be mindful of how our stories are kept and told.

013 | lessons from my homecoming

I'M SO EMOTIONAL (but also learning so much <3). my lola (or nanay aka grandma) was hospitalized and after two months of caring for her, I learned soo many lessons, which I have conveniently categorized for you in three lesson themes: (1) on getting better; (2) on guidance and channeled messages; and (3) on love/care/family. spoiler alert: she *almost* cries. ok, love you- enjoy!

it’s been a while!!! I’m really out here living in my journal entries but tell me why the second I feel momentum building I’m met with hella resistance? in this season of my life, I’m really welcoming the resistance as part of a full human experience and as a lil ancestor test to see if I’m really about it. always divinely guided, always divinely protected <3
