Beskrivelse

Nehemiah 6:1–3 — “I Cannot Come Down” (Jesse Lockhart, 5‑27‑26 PM) Bro. Jesse preaches from Nehemiah 6 on the moment when Nehemiah, knee‑deep in rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls, refuses the enemy’s invitation to “come down” because the work was too great to abandon. He walks through the whole backdrop—the seventy years of captivity, the ruins of Jerusalem, the people finally stirred with a mind to work, and the relentless opposition that rose every time progress was made. From ridicule to intimidation to internal division, the enemy tried every tactic to stop the rebuilding, just as the devil tries to stop believers today. But Nehemiah’s answer becomes the heartbeat of the message: when God gives you a work, you don’t quit, you don’t slow down, and you don’t step off the wall for anything or anyone. Jesse warns that the devil often comes disguised as friendliness, compromise, or “just take it easy,” but stepping down always leads to spiritual loss. The call is to stand firm, stay straight, hold convictions, fight for family and faith, and refuse every distraction with Nehemiah’s words: “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.”   Location: Whitwell, Tennessee — Fairview Union Church

episode A new Creature - Jesse Lockhart -6-28-26 cover

A new Creature - Jesse Lockhart -6-28-26

*Podcast Summary — “A New Creature” (2 Corinthians 5:17)In this sermon, Brother Jesse celebrates the miracle of salvation and the transforming power of becoming “a new creature” in Christ, reminding listeners that real salvation is not a light prayer or a small adjustment—it is a complete change of nature. He testifies of how God reached “below the bottom” to pull him out of sin, replacing old desires, old habits, old thinking, and old living with a brand‑new life filled with joy, peace, and purpose. Jesse warns against letting salvation grow stale, urging believers to return to their Bethel moments and remember where God found them, how conviction felt, and how grace first appeared. He calls the church to renew its fire, to refuse spiritual stagnation, and to rejoice again in the freshness of God’s mercy that is new every morning. With stories of healing, baptizing, shouting, and the sweetness of rediscovered joy, he reminds us that the life Christ gives never grows old—only we do—and that it’s time to stir up what God placed inside and live again in the newness of being made brand‑new. episode Jesse Lockhart 6-28-26-Is it Well? cover

Jesse Lockhart 6-28-26-Is it Well?

*Podcast Summary — “Is It Well?” (2 Kings 4)In this message, Brother Jesse walks us through the Shunammite woman’s story, showing how a single question—“Is it well?”—cuts through every layer of life and lands on the only thing that truly matters: the condition of the soul. He traces her journey from hospitality toward the prophet, to the miracle of her son’s birth, to the heartbreak of holding that same promised child as he died in her lap, and yet still declaring, “It is well.” Jesse reminds us that life brings sickness, loss, fear, and battles with the enemy, but none of that outweighs the eternal question of whether a person is right with God. He draws on Daniel in the lions’ den, the disciples rejoicing over miracles, and the danger of living at the border of commitment, urging listeners to settle the matter now—before trouble comes, before death comes, before judgment comes—and to be able to stand with confidence and say, without hesitation, “It is well with my soul.” Whitwell, Tennessee — Fairview Union Church

Sounding the alarm-6-26-26-Laynes chapel revival

Brother Chris Long preached with urgency from Joel 2, calling the church to “sound the alarm” for a lost world as he reminded the congregation that God’s presence was still moving in revival and His grace was the only reason any of us are saved. He shared his own testimony of salvation in 1991 and the years-long struggle before surrendering to the call to preach, emphasizing how God never gave up on him. Using the imagery of alarms—wake‑up alarms, fire alarms, burglar alarms, and storm sirens—he warned that the church has grown sleepy, silent, and distracted while souls are in danger, and he urged believers to wake up, speak up, and stand in the gap for family, friends, and neighbors before judgment comes. His message pressed the need for compassion, vigilance, and spiritual warfare, reminding listeners that storms, danger, and the enemy are real, but God still calls His people to warn, to watch, and to work while there is time.     Location: Layne’s Chapel Revival, Whitwell TN

episode 1 Samuel 4-10-22-6-25-26-Chris Long cover

1 Samuel 4-10-22-6-25-26-Chris Long

Brother Chris Long preaches with a heavy burden about the danger of drifting from God’s presence, using Israel’s loss of the ark in 1 Samuel 4 as a mirror for the modern church. He warns that sin—especially the quiet, tolerated kind—slowly drains the glory from a believer’s life until they’re only going through motions, treating God like a spare tire instead of their daily source of strength. With honesty about his own seasons of dryness, he urges the congregation to examine themselves, repent, seek the Lord earnestly, and return to real worship marked by conviction, humility, and the unmistakable touch of the Holy Ghost. His message presses the church to ask when they last truly felt God’s presence—and to refuse to settle for anything less than His glory restored.   Location: Whitwell, Tennessee — Fairview Union Church

episode Chris Long-6-24-2-Laynes chapel cover

Chris Long-6-24-2-Laynes chapel

Brother Chris Long preaches from 2 Kings 5 on Naaman, using the story to call the church back to compassion and the simple, everyday work of making a difference in the lives of people wounded by sin. He reminds the congregation that leprosy in Scripture mirrors the slow, spreading nature of sin, and that Naaman’s healing began not with a prophet or a king but with a captive little girl who refused bitterness and instead pointed him toward hope. Brother Chris warns that the modern church has grown hardened, self‑righteous, and quick to judge the broken—those on drugs, those homeless, those who look different—when Christ calls His people to step toward them, not away. Through the Good Samaritan, through Naaman’s pride, and through personal testimony of people who once made a difference in his own childhood, he urges believers to rediscover compassion, to stop crossing to the other side of the road, and to intentionally touch one life each day with kindness, mercy, and the love of God.
