Podkast av Delmar Dualeh
There are brillant, powerful, & unique folks in all of our lives. Every two weeks I will showcase someone different in my personal/professional life to share their journey with you. How did they get to where they are? How did I meet them? What work are they currently doing? All of those questions will be answered and more. I will interview each guest and invite you into their journey. The goal is for you to connect to their stories, reduce shame, increase resilience, and most of all inspire us to be more hopeful. This is the last episode of What's The T w/ Delmar D. Everything has a beginning, middle, and end. I reflect on the birth of this project, my interviews, and share why it's time to wrap this up. I want to work on a new podcast called "Story Disruptors" and a children's book entitled "Dear Hassan". Once I work on these new ideas I will definitely share it with you all. During this difficult time, I recommend you create a personal and work routine to give you some control back and find a hobby/creative passion project to fill up your new found time. "Done is better than perfect" don't let the fear of not knowing how to do things stop you from starting. I jumped into this knowing nothing about podcasting and now I've created a world of knowledge and resources. Please keep listening to episodes and sharing them. The project is over but these stories still have value, re-listen to your favorite interviews and checkout ones you didn't have time to listen to before. Thank you for all the support you've shown me, it truly means the world to me. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app [https://anchor.fm/app]Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/delmard/support [https://anchor.fm/delmard/support]

Mr. Kenneth B. Morris descends from two of the most influential names in American history: he is the great-great-great grandson of Frederick Douglass and the great-great-grandson of Booker T. Washington. In honor of black history month, I interview Ken about his family’s legacy of anti-slavery and educational work as co-founder and president of the nonprofit Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives (FDFI). Lastly, he shares some exciting updates such as an upcoming Frederick Douglass musical in Washington DC and a movie that is in the early stages of development.
