Ep. 001 Prayers Before Bed

This is the nightly prayer we do with our girls.  I have been working A LOT and haven't been able to be there every night like I'd like to be so I decided to make a recording of the prayer I want my girls to hear every night. Below is the prayer in writing: Thank you Jesus for Mommy and Daddy. Thank you for Kamry, Keira, and Karris. We thank you Jesus for all of our friends and family.  We thank you for our Pastor and his family and all of our teachers and friends at school. We ask you God to bless us all and keep us safe from the dangers and troubles of this world. God, we ask you to help mommy and daddy to be the best parents and the greatest leaders and teachers that they can be. I ask you Lord God to help mommy and daddy to raise up Kamry, Keira, and Karris in the way that they should go.  Help us to be the parents that you need us to be for them and to lead and guide them in your will. We ask you to touch and bless Kamry, Keira, and Karris God. We thank you for them and ask that you would keep them in your loving arms, God, let their life be truly given to you. Lead them and place the right people in their life to influence them with wisdom from you. They're so smart and beautiful and they love people. Help them to continue to grow that love for others as they get older and more mature. We want to thank you God for EVERY high and every low. Every mountain and every valley. We thank you for the storm and we thank you for calm after the storm. We thank you, Lord, for every battle that we have seemingly lost and also for every victory. We thank you for every lesson you have taught us through the hard times and through the battles. We give you ALL of the glory Lord. We thank you, God, that life is not just happening TO US, but that it is actually happening FOR us! We ask you for strength to withstand every trial and situation. We ask you for wisdom to always try to do the right things and to see the end from the beginning. We ask you for understanding to figure out and learn from the things we may not comprehend. And we ask you for knowledge and a love for learning so that we can strive to be more like you and live in your ways. We ask you for ALL of the fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.  And if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Lord teach us to serve you and to serve others to the BEST of our abilities and to ALWAYS live to build your kingdom. Help us to consistently be ETERNALLY focused! We thank you, Lord, for all you've done, all you're doing, and all you're going to do. Please keep our minds, thoughts, and dreams in your hands as we sleep tonight and go with us throughout our day. In JESUS name we pray, amen! I love you girls.. so much!
