Hello, this is Chad Eddy. For over two years I’ve been producing podcasts. The four series I’ve worked on are A Worthy Companion, which is more or less an audio journal of my life, Blurred Lines, which is a look at popular culture and Media through the lens of the Gospel, Chad Eddy’s Podcasting Podcast, which is a podcast about podcasting, and Remember The Gospel, which is a podcast that helps you remember and respond to the Gospel of Jesus in your everyday life.
My goal is to produce content that influences, encourages, and entertains you. A Worthy Companion and Remember The Gospel podcast are certainly my highest priority as I share my life, experiences, and passion for Jesus in a way that hopefully influences, encourages, and entertains you. From time to time in these podcast I have invited you to get in touch with me so that we can have more of a dialogue and not so much a recording of me talking to my basement wall.
I haven’t heard much of a response.
Now, I’ve tried different things to get your feedback. I ran a contest for a book that, well, nobody took me up on. I have left various ways to contact me including email, Facebook, and Twitter. But I haven’t heard from you.
Now, it’s difficult for me to continue trying to influence, encourage, and entertain you if I don’t know that you’re listening to what I’m saying. For the past few months, I have only released one podcast episode per month partly because I could only justify spending the minimum amount for hosting my podcasts, if nobody is listening to them. Now I would like to pick up again, and get on a more frequent schedule, but I won’t unless I know that you want me to.
I would like to hear from you. Actually, I NEED to hear from you. I am asking you to do no more than to reach out to me and let me know you’re listening.
You can say anything. Say Chad, I’m here. Or tell me what format you like best for Remember The Gospel (a solo show, an interview format, or hearing a sermon I’ve preached). Or ask me a question – ANY question. Or you can tell me about yourself – where you’re from, why you started listening, what you like…
Please, right now, stop what you’re doing, pull out your phone, and contact me. I know I’m being bold in asking this, but I’d rather ask first than just cancel my podcasting efforts without you knowing why.
