Australia's Generation Z Podcast

Podcast de Australia's Generation Z Podcast by the AGZ research team

This is the Australia’s Generation Z podcast, a short podcast series which comes out of a major national research project that looks at teens and diversity. The Australian Generation Z study (AGZ Study) provides a powerful insight into how teenagers are making sense of the world around them. Funded by the Australian Research Council, it explores teenagers’ experiences and understandings of religious, spiritual, gender and sexual diversity. This podcast series explores some of the stories coming out of this project. The AGZ Study comprises a nationally representative telephone survey of 1200 people aged 13-18, in-depth interviews and focus groups. The research directors are Professor Mary Lou Rasmussen (the Australian National University), Professor Andrew Singleton and Associate Professor Anna Halafoff (Deakin University) and Professor Gary Bouma (Monash University). Check out the links for more details about the project.

In the previous episode, we discovered that only a small proportion of Australian teens are seriously engaged in organised religion. What about spirituality?
